The THERM BOX 53W cooler set combines a white styrofoam box with a lid and 8 reusable gel cooling packs. The box insulates the contents, and the gel cooling pack serves as a passive cold source after freezing. This keeps chilled goods cooler for longer and frozen goods frozen for longer. The standard E3 crate for butchers & bakers fits perfectly into the thermo box, making the insulated box an ideal food container.
Two beer crates with 0.5L bottles also fit into the cooler, allowing easy transport and keeping beer cool. (Please note the dimensions of your beer crate and consider the internal dimensions)
The box, made of compacted EPS Styrofoam, is food-safe, odorless, water-repellent, non-hygroscopic, reusable, and easy to wipe clean. The gel cooling pack is food-safe, reusable, and has a sturdy LDPE film with a flexible water-based gel filling.
Depending on the contents, the cooling pack can be placed on top or at the side of the cooled goods. Less empty space in the box can effectively support cooling and keeping warm. Stackable with grip recesses and a reversible lid for open or closed ventilation. Before use, the gel cooling packs are frozen in the freezer compartment.
For ice cubes, meltwater, or other liquids, it is recommended to use suitable bags or containers to prevent leakage. Before first use, it is advisable to leave the box open for approximately two hours so that it can acclimatize optimally after production.
As with many styrofoam products, slight surface marks may occasionally occur, which arise during production or transport. The function and insulation performance of the box remain unaffected.
