The box made of Piocelan, a material from the Styrofoam family, is food-safe, odorless, water-repellent, non-hygroscopic, reusable, dishwasher-safe and easy to wipe clean. The gel ice pack is food-safe, reusable and has a sturdy LDPE film with a flexible water-based gel filling. The lightweight cooling pad fits into Styrofoam boxes, thermal boxes, cooler boxes and cooler bags.
Depending on the contents, the ice pack can be placed on top of or next to the chilled goods. Less empty space in the box can effectively support cooling and keeping warm. Before use, the gel ice pack is frozen in the freezer.
For ice cubes, meltwater or other liquids, it is recommended to use suitable bags or containers to prevent liquid from escaping. Before first use, it is advisable to leave the box open for about two hours so that it can acclimate optimally after production.
As with many Styrofoam products, slight surface marks may occasionally occur, which are caused during production or transport. The function and insulation performance of the box remain unaffected.
